I am a personal growth consultant who has been faciltating the integration of psychological and spiritual growth for over 40 years. I have degrees in psychology, education and music and am an ordained minister with the School of Actualism. I am also a Reiki Master. I currently have a private practice in San Diego where I facilitate groups, teach Light Alchemy Meditation, and practice Lifespan Integration, an exciting new approach to healing the past by using a Time Line of the person's life to heal painful experiences.
My pride and joy is Awakening Awareness, a 3-day transformational workshop that provides education and experiences that lead participants to profound depths in healing childhood wounds. As they learn how to create a True Adult that can accept, nurture and protect the Inner Child, participants experience the healing effects of speaking the truth and expressing their real feelings in a small group. I am currently running a facilitator training program to expand the workshop.
I have been working with people of all ages since 1961, teaching in public and private schools, teaching and playing piano, as well as doing mediation work in corporations. I specialize in creating safe space where love and laughter can flourish. I have created a large community of people who are committed to being responsible True Adults where everyone's child can play and express themselves freely. I am an exuberant and outrageous warrior woman who is passionate about personal and spiritual growth and wellbing. I am the author of RADICAL INTEGRITY: 21 Ways to Create a Meaningful Life and hosted an internet radio show designed to educate people about child sexual abuse.
My proudest accomplishment is raising 3 children as a single parent and being a doting grandmother to 7 wonderful grandchildren.
My specialty is teaching people how to create a True Adult whose main responsibility is loving, accepting, nurturing and protecting the Inner Child that is inside all of us. Too many "adults" are really still thinking and acting like the children they once were. Even though their bodies have matured, they have not done the important work of questioning and challenging their beliefs and behaviors. I am committed to inspiring and assisting others in awakening the full potential for love, wisdom, creativity and power that lies within each of us.
I love to work with groups! You can accomplish so much more in a group setting, where you get to see how people interact with others, the defenses they may not even realize they use and the childish expectations they have of others. I am very pragmatic and do whatever it takes to awaken people to their potential, which I see as a beautiful and wondrous thing! I use a multi-dimensional approach and develop deep trusting relationships with my clients, using Lifespan Integration, Reiki, Inner Child dialogue, Breathwork and emotional release work.
